The pocket is torn:
the Asem Nestlé company informed retailers today (Wednesday) that following very significant cumulative price increases, they are forced to update the price list for retailers of a small part of the company's products that are most significantly affected by these price increases.

Among the products: sabar salads, tivol, noodles for soup, bonjour, ketchup and sauces, cookies and chocolate-based products.
These products make up about 14% of the company's total products alone, most of which are produced in the industrial plants in the south.
The price list will be updated in a range of about 9%-3%, which is about 1% of the company's total price list.
During the past year, the company completed deep streamlining moves in the company's units, alongside an investment of NIS 150 million in the construction of a new Tivol plant adjacent to the Sabar plant, in order to streamline production processes.
However, the company says, "the considerable cumulative price increases oblige us to make a partial and moderate adjustment of the price list, which only partially compensates for the price increases, when we continue to absorb most of them".

The upload is expected to start on March 1st.
We note that in the meantime, the price of fuel also jumped by 44 cents.
Meanwhile, we note that on Thursday the price of electricity will also increase by 2.6%, which is an increase of about 10 shekels on average per household per month.
