The police of the Swedish capital, Stockholm, announced today, Wednesday the 9th, about the discovery of a "suspicious and dangerous object" near the Israeli embassy in the city.

Large police forces arrived in the area and the entrance to the embassy was blocked. 



The Swedish newspaper "Sidsbanken" reported that a local saboteur unit destroyed the object defined by the saboteurs as "active and dangerous".

The newspaper also reported that the embassy staff was not evacuated. 



Yesterday, Sweden announced that it will join the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union and suspend donations to the United Nations agency UNRWA, until an investigation into the involvement of its people in terrorist acts by the Hamas organization is completed.
