Program change at RTL.

This week, viewers have to do without “Stern TV” with Steffen Hallaschka.

For a specific reason.

Cologne – Long-run formats actually have their place at RTL.

This also includes the magazine “Stern TV”, which airs every Wednesday at 10:35 p.m.

But the fight for the best broadcast slots on the private broadcaster has broken out for a few days now.

Now the popular TV format has also been hit.

There is a specific reason why the fans have to do without presenter Steffen Hallaschka (52) this evening.

Broadcast date snatched away: Big competition for “Stern TV”

With a runtime of 34 years, “Stern TV” is a long-running hit on the private broadcaster RTL.

The show has now become a classic among reportage magazines and, with current reporting, discussion and discussion groups and a critical look at social injustices, is a guarantee for good ratings.

Now the format had to admit defeat to a major competitor.

Instead of critical reports from politics and society, there are trashy insights into the jungle moderated by Jan Köppen (40) and Sonja Zietlow (55).

The popular and high-rating RTL reality format “I'm a star – get me out of here!” dominates primetime until midnight until the finale on February 4th and has therefore also displaced “Stern TV” from its broadcast slot today.

Not just “Stern TV” – this RTL format is also fighting for airtime

However, the jungle camp itself was only hit at the weekend.

Although the program “I'm a star - get me out!” always impresses with top ratings, RTL decided to drastically reduce the broadcast time of the trash TV format to just 40 minutes last Sunday (January 21st). .

The reason is the live broadcast of the NFL playoffs from the USA.

This week fans have to do without presenter Steffen Hallaschka and his reportage magazine “Stern TV”.

Instead, Jan Köppen and Sonja Zietlow report the latest developments from the jungle camp.

Jungle camp fans have to be strong next Sunday (January 28th).

Because here too, the entertainment show has to give way to the NFL at 8:55 p.m.

However, “Stern TV” would also have been left behind with its Sunday edition.

Due to the NFL, RTL is not showing the entire jungle camp for the first time in 20 years.

This program change has met with little understanding among fans on social networks.
