as permanent representative of Argentina to the
United Nations (UN)
, whose officialization was made this Wednesday through the Official Gazette.
The appointment of the career diplomat, who served as ambassador to Russia during the Cambiemos Government, was arranged through Decree 99/2024.
The regulations by which he was appointed bear the signatures of President Javier Milei and Chancellor Diana Mondino.
Lagorio already served in the Argentine mission to the UN between 1982 and 1989;
and in the Argentine embassy in Washington between 2000 and 2003.
