There are 70 crews who will participate from 7 to 9 March in the 11th Winterace in Cortina d'Ampezzo, an event reserved for historic and modern cars of particular stylistic interest.
Participants will drive along the Dolomite roads for just over 400 kilometers divided into two stages.
Of the 70 registered participants, 50 will be driving historic cars built by 1999, and 20 of cars included in the special 'icon' section, reserved for cars considered iconic points of reference in world production.
The foreign participants come from Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Mexico and Monte Carlo.
Among Italians, the tendency to pass the baton of passion for the world of classic cars is confirmed, with teams made up of father and sons.
On Friday 8 March, after departing from Corso Italia in Cortinad'Ampezzo, the participants will follow the Dolomite roads towards and back from the Alpe di Siusi, tackling alpine passes, such as the Pinei, the Nigra and the Costalunga which had never been included in the previous routes. editions.
The return to Cortina includes transit through the San Pellegrino Pass, Falcade, Cencenighe, Caprile, Selva di Cadore and Passo Giau. On Saturday 9 March after the first car leaves Cortina, again at 9:00 am and with return at 4:30 pm, The participants will retrace the Giau Pass in the reverse direction, to then pass Forcella Staulanza and Forcella Cibiana in that order.
In this stage the cars will be presented around 11:00 in Pieve di Cadore from where they will subsequently reach the Passo di Sant'Antonio.
