Several alliances in the Starnberg district are calling for further demonstrations against the right-wing and the AfD on Friday.

Starnberg / Gilching / Seefeld district - The “Starnberg Dialogue”, a civil society alliance that has existed since 2016, expressly welcomes the current protest actions from a broad citizenry against the activities and expulsion fantasies of the AfD and groups of the Identitarian Movement and calls on the citizens of the District to take part in the anti-AfD demonstrations.

The “Starnberger Dialog” alliance is calling on the district to take part in anti-AfD demos: “We have to defend ourselves!”

Last week, the Starnberg district association invited people to a get-together in Starnberg with Gerrit Huy, a participant in the meeting made public by the “Correctiv” platform, which discussed a plan for the “remigration” of fellow citizens.

The AfD is now planning to “advise” people with its “citizen mobile” on Friday, February 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. in Gauting in front of the HypoVereinsbank and at 1:15 p.m. in Gilching on the market square.

The organizers of the Starnberg Dialogue say: “We have to defend ourselves against this!

We don't want to give up our seats to such people without protest.

We show the red card to those who fantasize about “deportations” and want to spread racist, backward-looking, undemocratic and inhumane ideas.

Let’s show in Gilching, Seefeld and Gauting that these ideas are unwelcome here and everywhere in the country.”

In Gilching there will be a demonstration organized by the parties and groups represented in the local council on February 2nd from 4 p.m., where, among others, District Administrator Stefan Frey and Mayor Manfred Walter will also speak.

In Seefeld, a broad alliance against the AfD will also gather in front of the castle on Saturday, February 3rd, at 4 p.m.

“Please participate with creative signs, show commitment to our democracy, and call on the enemies of democracy to say “Never again!”, said Sissi Fuchsenberger for the Starnberg Dialogue.

– Together against exclusion, hatred and agitation!” the organizers invite you to a demonstration procession through the main street in Seefeld from the castle to Marienplatz on Saturday, February 3rd at 4 p.m.

The most creative posters will be awarded prizes at the final rally.

The non-partisan alliance of clubs and parties is supported by the FDP, Greens, Citizens' Initiative Eichenallee, SPD, BVS, CSU, FWG, BUND Nature Conservation, Räsonanz, Pilsensee-Wörthsee Fishing Association, Capella Vocale Hechendorf, DAV, EUTB, Against Forgetting - For Democracy, Sailing Club Pilsensee, culture in Seefeld Castle, Arge Inclusion Advisory Board Starnberg, Rotary Club Wörthsee, TSV Hechendorf and Oberalting-Seefeld, TC Seefeld, neighborhood assistance Seefeld and Hechendorf, asylum helper group, men's choir, Protestant church community and many other people from civil society.

The organizers invite all people from Seefeld and neighboring communities to stand up and stand up for our democracy, for respectful coexistence, for diversity and tolerance.

The organizers are calling on people to take part in the demonstration with creative posters.

At the final rally there will be an award ceremony with a press photo.

The action alliance is supported by civil society, so party flags are not welcome.

People of all ages are welcome to attend the demonstration, the pace will be slow enough to accommodate everyone.

Start: 4 p.m. at Seefeld Castle, Graf-Toerring-Seefeld-Straße, route: via Graf-Toerring-Seefeld-Straße and main street to Marienplatz, final rally: around 5 p.m. at Marienplatz.
