Burglars hit an apartment in Niederroth and a single-family home in Puchschläge.

An apartment in Niederroth and a single-family home in Puchschläge were hit by burglars.
However, residents were able to drive the men away.
Niederroth/Puchschläge – The Dachau police are dealing with two similar cases in which the residents drove away burglars.
Facing a strange man at midnight
On Wednesday night, the resident of an apartment building on Feldstrasse in Niederroth met a stranger in the hallway of his apartment at midnight.
She had apparently gained access through the unlocked house and apartment doors and was looking for valuables in the entrance area with a flashlight.
When the resident spoke to him, the man fled on Dachauer Strasse towards Indersdorf.
The unknown man is described as being around 1.85 meters tall, weighing 75 kilograms and of Western European appearance.
He was wearing a blue shirt, a dark jacket, dark pants and a cap.
Access gained via unlocked front door
A similar incident occurred in Puchschläge at around 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Two men had also gained access to a single-family home through an unlocked door and searched the entrance area.
When a resident noticed the duo, they ran away and then got into a white pickup truck in the area of the main street.
The vehicle with Hungarian registration then drove away in the direction of Kreuzholzhausen.
The men are each described as being around 40 years old and of southern appearance.
In both cases, the perpetrators were disturbed in their plans by the residents' appearance, so there was no theft, reports the police.
Extensive searches have so far not been successful.
The PI Dachau is investigating attempted theft and trespassing and is asking for information from witnesses by calling 0 81 31/561-0.
