The climb to the Bodenschneidhaus
The fastest way to the Bodenschneidhaus is from Fischausen-Neuhaus and takes around 1.5 hours.
The starting point is at the hiking car park on Dürnbachstrasse, and the path is optimally signposted to the destination.
Compared to other routes, it is noticeably quieter here in winter, which explains the more demanding approach.
At least 480 meters in altitude have to be overcome over just under four kilometers, which helps ensure that the hut is not overcrowded.

Silent nature and culinary enjoyment
The wintry silence on the way to the Bodenschneidhaus is a real treat for nature lovers.
The tranquility during the climb allows hikers to enjoy the untouched beauty of the surroundings.
Since the approach is a little more challenging, you won't be overrun by crowds at the hut.
Once you arrive at an altitude of 1,400 meters, the Bodenschneidhaus rewards you with a breathtaking view and delicious food.
A special feature of the Bodenschneidhaus is the possibility of staying overnight even in winter.
