The carnival ladies of the Community of Catholic Women in Moosinning have once again staged a colorful program for the women's carnival.

Rehearsals have been going on since October.

Moosinning

– The women’s carnival is celebrated in Moosinning every last Friday in January.

The popular event is organized by the Community of Catholic Women Moosinning (GKFM), and they come up with an unusual program for their guests year after year.

The Daimerwirt dance floor was well attended from the first song.

There were chickens, antique floor lamps, creatures from the underwater world and the obligatory Indian women.

“The DJs Alex and Jakob had the audience completely under control.

The atmosphere couldn’t have been better,” reports board member Maria Gunderlach on behalf of the organizers.

The program began with the sea shanty “Aloha Heja He” including an incoming ship, sailors, mermaids, Hawaiian dancers and rowers.

“The atmosphere was great, and everyone enthusiastically sang the refrain 'Aloha Heja He' - even after the song had already faded away.”

The playback show, which was always eagerly awaited, was once again presented by the presenter (Nina Döllel), who had come especially from Austria.

The younger generation of carnival ladies showed off their dancing talent at the Barbie interpretation of “Dance the Night” – and Ken also stopped by.

“(Simply) The Best” by Tina Turner (brilliantly doubled by Maria Sedlmair) and “I love life” by Vicky Leandros also created a great atmosphere.

The special thing about the women's carnival in Moosinning is that the carnival ladies always put together a varied program with great attention to detail.

Since October we have been rehearsing and working on the props once a week.

The carnival ladies put a lot of thought into how they can present a hit, because in Moosinning not only is the artist on stage, but the songs are actually staged.

Dancing espresso cups, a Chianti bottle and chic ladies sipping Prosecco represented the dolce vita in “Expresso and Tschianti”.

And during the interpretation of “Everybody” from the movie “Trolls 3”, all the carnival ladies who were not yet on stage lined up as trolls for the song finale.

The interpretation of the hit “Dorfkinder” by Finnel was also outstanding: it was clearly shown that people can celebrate in the village too – with pretzels and a light beer at the bus stop, and the city girls were “banned from the village”.

This was so well received by the audience that an encore was requested.

The eagerly awaited finale came just before midnight.

A hot dance was presented based on the musical “Moulin Rouge” (choreography: Maria Sedlmair).

The sexy dressed ladies gyrated their hips to “Lady Marmalade”.

The mood in the hall was boiling, which lasted until the early hours of the morning.

There were new faces among the carnival ladies again this year, which made Gunderlach very happy, as the troupe is supposed to keep the atmosphere going for a long time to come, and young talent is important.

This year's participants were Franziska and Katharina Bauer, Verena Bies, Lisa and Nina Döllel, Bettina Gaßner, Maria Gunderlach, Bärbel Humplmair, Moni Hupfer, Tina Keck, Kathi Kolar, Karin Neumayr, Maria and Kathi Sedlmair.
