Grafing is preparing for street carnival on Nonsense Thursday (USIDO): The city has now pointed out the rules and requirements that apply to the carnival bear event.

- For the hustle and bustle organized by the Grafinger carnival bears on Nonsense Thursday (USIDO), February 8th, from 7 p.m. to midnight, extensive barriers in the market square are planned, the town hall said in a statement.
The reason for this is “according to the security concept for public events, the optimization of measures for the safe implementation of public events,” it says in administrative language.
A security service equipped with appropriate authority will control the event area and intervene and take action if necessary.
These are the prohibitions
This is prohibited: taking glass in any form, carrying alcoholic drinks, handing out drink bottles/glasses, taking backpacks into the event area.
The organizer and the security staff are entitled to remove the backpacks brought from the entrance area into the event location for the duration of the event.
When leaving the event, the backpack will be returned to the owner, according to the town hall.
And: “The organizer and the security staff are entitled to carry out random checks on the backpacks brought along for the duration of the event.”
Beer and wine only for ages 16 and up
Beer and wine may only be served to young people aged 16 and over.
The distribution/consumption of spirits and drinks containing spirits (including alcopops) is completely prohibited for this age group.
Visitors would be asked to behave on the event area and in the area around the market square in such a way that others are not harassed, endangered or harmed.
The city points out that the market square will be closed to through traffic on Nonsense Thursday from around 3:30 p.m.
