MK Yitzhak Wasserlauf (Otzma Yehudit) today (Thursday) attacked Finance Minister Bezalel Smutrich following the publication in "Israel Hayom" about Smutrich's words against the chairman of Wasserlauf's party, Minister Itamar Ben Gabir.
In a Zoom conversation with the candidates in the local authorities on behalf of "religious Zionism" Smotrich said "I don't like ultimatums or threats. There is a beautiful phrase that says "if you want to shoot, shoot.
don't talk
No threats and no acting like little children.
We need to cooperate together.
More action, less talk.
The prime minister knows what the red lines are."
Smotrich refers to Ben Gvir's threats to overthrow the government
Wasserlauf responded to these things and wrote on his X account: "I hear Smotrich's criticism against us this morning following our opposition to a promiscuous deal that would endanger Israel's security. I somehow remembered some of his threats to retire just recently, but perhaps what is allowed to Smotrich in light of his powers , Ban Gavir is prohibited on security grounds."
I hear Smotritz's criticism against us this morning following our opposition to a promiscuous deal that would endanger Israel's security.
Somehow I remembered some of his threats to retire only recently, but perhaps what is allowed to Smutritz on the basis of his powers, is forbidden to Ben Gabir on security grounds.

MK Wasserlauf attached to his words two publications about the Minister of Finance: a threat to retire because they will not make policy decisions without the approval of the Cabinet and a threat to vote against the budget if the powers of the Civil Administration are not transferred to him.
