It reflects the continuation of the effort to take control, without guaranteeing its success... if success is to satisfy the demands of the base (income, increase in energy, low prices imposed by the agri-food industry and the large distribution, imports, epizootics).
The movement started with the – justified – demand of breeders and, in general, heads of modest farms, to have remuneration commensurate with their work and their cost price.
It also started from their fear at the suicide rate among their own.
