A special day in Israel:
Ben Gurion Airport was almost empty during the low days of the war, when on certain days, the number of passengers there hovered around 10,000. Today (Thursday) there will be several important events that return the situation to some kind of routine.
The first thing that happens today is a record number of more than three months - during the day 27 thousand passengers will pass through the port, almost 15 thousand of them will take off abroad.
During the low days of the war, about a third of the current number of passengers passed there.

In addition, four airlines that are very important to the aviation and tourism industry in Israel are returning today.
Ryanair will return to Israel and operate flights to five destinations: Marseille, Baden-Baden, Memmingen, Vienna and Milan.
The Greek Blue Bird company will return to Israel and operate direct flights to Athens, the Transavia company will return to Israel with direct flights to Paris while its line to Amsterdam is still not returning.
Another airline that is returning today is Smartwings. Beyond the fact that it will operate direct flights to Prague, it is an important airline in Israel that operates flights for some of the Israeli airlines, so its return to Israel will allow the Israeli companies to return and use it to operate flights to various destinations in the world.

The destinations to which the most flights will be operated today will be the USA and Greece with eight destinations for each of the countries.
Seven flights will take off to the United Arab Emirates and five flights will take off from Israel to France, Cyprus, Russia, Georgia and Italy.
The return of the foreign airlines is already helping to lower the prices of flights and you can find flight tickets at prices ranging around 100-200 dollars to a variety of destinations in Europe.
In a month, Wizz Air, ITA and other airlines are also expected to return and in a few days, on February 6, Air Seychelles will also return with a weekly flight to Seychelles.
