With the goal of not losing the identity of this 1700s estate, the series of renovations that El Cortijo Hotel Boutique - located in Cachi, province of Salta - underwent, sought to rescue its original materials.
The carpentry, hardware, lintels, stone floors and even some walls were recovered to preserve their essence.
In its restaurant, for example, the solid wood curved ceiling stands out, from which five French crystal chandeliers hang.

In the 1,200 m2 that the hotel occupies, you can see the art collection of the owner, Gustavo Bergesi.
“In all sectors there are works;
for example, tapestries that were made to order, pieces by artists from Tucuman and Salta mixed with antiques and at the same time with modern elements that make it more eclectic,” explains Omar Farhat, designer of the Interior Design studio in charge of the remodeling, expansion, installation in value and interior design

The tranquility of the place invites you to share good moments and, without a doubt, the heart of the hotel is the gallery that connects the patio and the pool: “It has a special climate.
We place lights on the floor that illuminate the columns and curtains;
The decoration is very subtle, scenic at some point,” says Farhat.

The garden is a natural haven created by landscape designer Vero Saguier: “I wanted to achieve a plantation with little water requirement, but with many flowers;
something that was not formal, rather wild, like a meadow,” she describes.
Thus, around the pool, aromatic mallows, artichokes, fennels, centranthus and echinaceas are combined, which throughout the year provide varied ornamental accents.
