After an aerial bomb was found, the police evacuated 2,000 people from Geretsried.
A 67-year-old refused to leave his apartment - and that's why he was now sitting in the dock in the district court.
Geretsried - The disposal of an aerial bomb in Geretsried on May 15th last year had repercussions for a pensioner in the district court.
The man had massively resisted the ordered evacuation and ultimately had to be removed from the exclusion zone by several police officers.
The 67-year-old has now been sentenced to six months in prison by the Wolfratshausen district court for assaulting law enforcement officers as well as resistance and attempted bodily harm.
The execution of the sentence was suspended for two years.

More than half a year has passed since the incident, but the man still wavers between insight and incomprehension.
“The action was absolutely arbitrary.
It was ridiculous to evacuate me,” he claims.
He has already taken part in 25 evacuations and nothing has ever happened.
On the other hand, he admits that he contributed to the escalation: “It was a big nonsense.” “That only very superficially describes what happened,” the judge later stated in his verdict.

The pensioner had been persuaded for a long time because he wanted to stay in his apartment, reported the operations manager of the Dachau riot police, who were on site at the time with a class of trainees.
They went from house to house to evacuate everyone within a 300 meter radius of the bomb site on Sperlingsstrasse.
“I offered to take him to a bar, buy him a beer and drive him home later,” the officer explained.
“I got him shoes, a jacket and an umbrella.” But the man couldn’t be persuaded to go.

Instead, he broke away, lay down on the couch and blocked himself when several colleagues joined forces to get him out.
Because he pushed a police officer in the scuffle so that he fell over a chair, “we put him on the floor and tied him up,” explained the witness, who specializes in “conflict communication.”
Finally, two officers carried the man upright, “each on one arm,” out of the building and transported him to the police station.

“It's a circus, unbelievable,” said judge Helmut Berger after he sentenced the former nurse to a prison sentence of six months - one less than the prosecutor's request.
“Defusing an aerial bomb involves a risk.
That's why you have to evacuate.
There is no basis for discussion,” said Berger.
As a condition, the convicted person must pay 2,000 euros to the German Police Union.
The defendant accepted the verdict.
