Bus accident in Marktredwitz: Two injured in Upper Franconia
The 17-year-old student sustained minor foot injuries.
The bus driver suffered multiple fractures to his lumbar spine.
Both were taken to hospitals.
Police initially suspected that the bus driver's medical problem may have caused the accident.
There were no other injuries.
The students were picked up at the scene of the accident by their parents.
Some passengers had already left the scene of the accident before the emergency services arrived, so it was initially unclear how many people were on the bus at the time of the accident.
