  • Soak 1 kg of comfrey leaves in 10 l of water;

  • Leave to macerate for around twenty days;

  • Filter the preparation.

  • It will then need to be diluted depending on its use:

    • at 10%

      for use as a liquid fertilizer;

    • at 5%

      for use as a repellent.

    How to grow comfrey?

    Robust and long-lived, comfrey is very easy to grow.

    It is enough to offer it

    a sunny location

    and rich, humus-rich soil to see it flourish!

    Hardy up to -30°C, it disappears in winter to reappear in early spring but requires no protection in winter.

    You just need to ensure good watering in summer in order to maintain permanently cool soil.

    Very productive, a comfrey plant planted in the ground can be

    pruned 3 to 4 times a year

    to harvest its leaves.

    Just be sure to choose its location carefully, as its significant root development makes it impossible to move once well established.
