The public prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation against a driver on initial suspicion of negligent homicide.
A 43-year-old cyclist was killed in an accident in Neuhausen (Enzkreis).
An expert is now examining to what extent the driver is to blame for the man's death, as the police and public prosecutor's office announced on Thursday.
Neuhausen - Witnesses were also asked to come forward.
In the accident on Tuesday on a country road, the car driving up from behind hit the cyclist.
An accident occurred.
The man died at the scene of the accident.
