A Palestinian resident of Khan Yunis was arrested tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday) in Jerusalem while riding a motorcycle that was stolen shortly before from the center of the country.

Shortly after 03:30, the police received a report about a scooter that had been stolen in the Tel Aviv area and was making its way towards the general direction of Jerusalem on road number 1. Immediately upon receiving the report, the police and the MGB were prepared to locate the stolen vehicle and to thwart its theft and transfer to the IOS areas .
The forces located the suspicious scooter and arrested the rider.
Burglary tools, gloves and other items were caught in his possession.
Checking the suspect's identity revealed that he is a 27-year-old Palestinian, a resident of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, without a driver's license.
He was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.
The stolen motorcycle will be returned to its owner.
