His version and his denials did not convince the judges of the Essonne criminal court.
On Wednesday, a 26-year-old man was found guilty of a rape committed on the night of May 3 to 4, 2021, in Montgeron.
This Moldovan national was sentenced to ten years of criminal imprisonment, permanently banned from French territory and ordered to compensate his victim to the tune of 25,000 euros.
He has ten days to appeal.

That evening, the victim, then aged 28, went out for a walk in the Moulin-de-Senlis park, hoping to charge a cigarette to the people she might meet.
But the man she falls on starts chasing her, catches up with her and puts his hand over her mouth, telling her to stay “calm”.
The area is deserted and the first pavilions are several dozen meters away.
Her attacker will then rape her several times in the tall grass.
The scene spans more than three hours.
The “paralyzed” victim
The defendant, who was drunk on the evening of the incident, claimed that it was a paid relationship, but nothing links the victim to prostitution.
During all this time, “she could have fled,” argued her lawyer Me Téti-Justin Gnadré.
They even smoked cigarettes three times.

In 2016, she was the victim of an attempted murder.

For the young woman's lawyer, Me Augustin Nancy, sexual relations are not contested and the medical certificate mentions injuries linked to violence.
Furthermore, the accused varied in his statements.
The psychiatrist who examined him shortly after the incident spoke of his coldness, noting that he smiled during the interview and was convinced that he would come out as soon as the interview was over.
On the victim's side, the expert noted that she was in a state of shock.
Since the events, those around her have described her as sad, withdrawn and depressed.
She has since moved to the South.
