A girl (10) on a scooter and a 77-year-old on a Pedelec collided violently in Unterhaching.
The view was obscured.
Unterhaching
- On Wednesday afternoon, a ten-year-old girl was traveling east on her scooter on the sidewalk on Maxhofstrasse in Unterhaching.
At the same time, a 77-year-old man from Taufkirchen was riding his Pedelec south on Biberger Strasse, on the sidewalk open to cyclists, the police reported.
Child and cyclist collide
The collision occurred at the intersection of the two streets.
According to the police, the girl probably recognized the situation too late, and her view was also obscured by a wall.
Emergency services take girl to hospital
The girl, who was accompanied by her mother, fell and injured her elbow.
The Pedelec driver remained uninjured.
An ambulance took the ten-year-old to the hospital.
