Did Greta Thunberg disrupt public order at a demonstration?
A court will decide on this.
London - Around three months after a demonstration in London, Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is on trial in the British capital.
The 21-year-old arrived at Westminster Magistrates' Court this morning.
Together with other activists, she demonstrated in front of a hotel in mid-October against a meeting of energy managers.
The indictment accuses Thunberg and her colleagues of disrupting public order.
The activists had accused oil and gas companies of postponing the switch to renewable energy for their own profit.
Thunberg was temporarily arrested at the time because she and others were said to have refused to open a street and instead demonstrated on the sidewalk.
Thunberg appeared at a court hearing in London in mid-November regarding the case.
She pleaded innocent at the time.
If convicted, she could face a fine.
Today some climate activists protested in front of the court.
