A jungle camp victory would probably suit Heinz Hoenig, as insolvency proceedings were currently underway against the actor (“Das Boot”).
Murwillumbah - In the RTL jungle camp, Heinz Hoenig (72) recently made a real transformation: The cult actor started rather sluggishly in "I'm a star - get me out of here!" (IBES), but then thawed after a few days ever further up.
In the meantime, the sometimes grumpy “Das Boot” actor has integrated himself perfectly into the more or less prominent group.

However, Heinz Hoenig is by no means staying in the Australian bush for fun - probably just like his fellow jungle camp candidates, after all there is a total prize of 100,000 euros at stake.
The 72-year-old would also like to secure this, because not long ago financial problems overshadowed his otherwise impressive career.

But Heinz Hoenig was able to breathe a sigh of relief a few months before he took part in the jungle camp: in September 2023, the insolvency proceedings against him were lifted.
This was also accompanied by the so-called residual debt exemption, which is intended to enable him to make a new economic start: seizable income usually has to be transferred to a trustee appointed by the court for three years.
He then uses the money to at least partially settle outstanding claims.

The fee that the actor, who was born in Landsberg am Lech in Bavaria, collects from IBES should therefore come in handy.
It remains to be seen whether it will be enough for the overall victory and thus the prize money of 100,000 euros.
Despite his entertaining nature, Heinz Hoenig is not one of the favorites.
The 72-year-old was previously banned from taking any exams.
However, he won't be last in the season, this title went to someone else: Cora Schumacher (47), who even had to go to the hospital after leaving the jungle camp.
