President Javier Milei holds a virtual meeting this Thursday with
Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock,
the largest investment fund in the world
.
The zoom was announced amid the interest aroused in the financial world by the economic reforms launched by the government.
“I want to inform you that at 12 noon President Javier Milei is going to meet virtually with Larry Fink.
“He comes to ratify a path of long-term investments
, like other businessmen who have met with the president,” said the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, in his usual press conference.
The official was asked if BlackRock
could participate in the privatizations
planned by the Government, to which he responded that "the meeting has not yet occurred, but
there is an intention to invest in a logical and predictable Argentina."
According to Adorni, the investment fund has shares in countless companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Coca Cola, Twitter Pepsico.
In addition, it owns Argentine bonds and shares of companies such as Mercado Libre, Tenaris, Grupo Galicia, Banco Macro, Telecom, Pampa Energía, TGN, Arcos Dorados and Adecoagro.
Milei reported yesterday through her X account that she had a virtual dialogue with
Sean Rad
,
founder of the famous social network Tinder,
and that they will meet in Buenos Aires.
In turn, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, received
Robert Citrone, head of Discovery Capital Management, last week.
