A man in Bayreuth is said to have been jogging armed with a knife.
The police arrested him at his apartment.

Because a man was said to be carrying a knife while jogging, the officers went out to look for him.
They suspect the wrong person - but this man now also has to face consequences.
Bayreuth – In Upper Franconia, police forces went out looking for a man who was said to have been jogging armed with a knife.
Accordingly, eyewitnesses felt threatened and called the police.
According to initial information, the jogger is said to have damaged the jacket of a 71-year-old with the knife.
Man breaks policeman's finger during check
When looking for the armed jogger, the officers initially suspected the wrong man during the check in Bayreuth.
According to the police, when they wanted to take his personal details, he resisted so much that a police officer's finger was broken.
Only later did it emerge that it was not the suspect.
But the man still has to answer for himself.
He is now being investigated for resisting law enforcement officers.
As it later turned out, the jogger, who was allegedly armed with knives, was in his apartment.
The police found him there and seized, among other things, a kitchen knife and a bread knife.
According to the police, the 32-year-old was taken to a psychiatric clinic because of his health condition.
