The case made waves in the district.

In November 2022, a 19-year-old stabbed a homeless man with a knife in front of the AEZ on Schöngeisinger.

Fürstenfeldbruck – The victim barely survived.

Now the young man received his punishment.

The Munich II Regional Court sentenced the Emmeringer to a youth prison of six years for attempted manslaughter.

During the trial, the defendant stated that he felt provoked by the man.

In order to duel with him, he had a knife taken from a shop.

He first punched his opponent in the face, breaking his jaw.

He then stabbed him twice in the chest area, although the first stab he believed he hadn't hit the man at all.

“The second stab went completely in,” he recalled in court.

When he pulled the knife out again, he saw some blood and pieces of flesh.

Another stabbing was no longer possible because the defendant was pulled away by an acquaintance.

On the silver bridge

After the attack, the 19-year-old fled and threw the knife into the Amper on Silbersteg.

The victim had to have his spleen removed in an emergency operation.

He survived, but he has no memory of the incident.

In Fürstenfeldbruck, the defendant made more than derogatory comments about his victim, insulted him as “Asi” and denied him the right to life.

The 19-year-old is said to have said that the man deserved it and that he and his victim were just homeless people.

Regret

On a previous day of the trial, his defense attorney had said that the young guy regretted what had happened.

His client claimed that he had learned through his pre-trial detention that his life had gone completely wrong and that he should have listened to his parents.

But the experienced judge didn't accept his change of heart so quickly.

“Things aren’t going so well in prison either,” he remarked.

There was probably a fight there - supposedly for fun - and another offense.
