What construction measures and other projects are the district municipalities planning in the year that has just begun?
There is also a lot on the list in Greiling.
Greiling - In his review of 2023, Greilinger Mayor Anton Margreiter recently expressed how much he is at war with the paralyzing excesses of bureaucracy in our country.
That's why he wants there to be less interference from this side if the community wants to implement its plans for 2024.
Margreiter sees it as a main task for the new year, together with the other two municipalities of Reichersbeuern and Sachsenkam, to develop the necessary solutions “as quickly as possible” for all the building and structural requirements for full-day care for primary school students in the Reichersbeuern association school from 2026.
As is known, a nationwide legal right to full-day care for children of primary school age will be gradually introduced from 2026: initially for first graders in the 2026/27 school year, and then until the 2029/30 school year for all children in grades 1 to 4.
This extends the existing legal right to early childhood support from the age of one until the end of primary school.
Of course, that doesn't mean that all parents actually have to take advantage of these offers - but the community must make them available.
Football field should be renovated
Also on Anton Margreiter's agenda this year is the continuation of the expansion of the TÖL 16 through town from the center of the village in an easterly direction.
Of course there will be some hindrances again.
The district is responsible for paying for the roadway on the district road, but the municipality itself is responsible for the sidewalks and the entire municipal network underground.
Another (smaller) concern for the community is the renovation of the football field, which slopes down significantly on one side and therefore requires soil replacement.

Anton Margreiter also hopes that the solar park at Mühlleiten, which was inaugurated last September, will be the expected economic success.
One can be “proud that the municipality, together with its partners ESB, 17-er Oberlandenergie and also private investors, have made such sensible use of a conversion area of the former military airfield,” said the mayor of Greilingen.
