In the heart of a tower in Gani Tikva, in a five-room apartment that covers an area of 140 square meters, lives a young family with a couple of parents in their thirties together with three small children. They chose to design their apartment and for this purpose they hired the services of interior designer Sissy Erzi from Studio 73 The design line that Sisi chose together with the family was a clean design line that created balance and harmony in the space, along with the simplicity of beauty and design cleanliness. Together with the client,

Arzi

chose warm and neutral colors, which will be relevant and pleasing to the eye even in several years to come. The chosen color palette contains the These colors: brown, grayish, off-white, black and bleached wooden parquet.

The actual design process consisted of two stages:

the initial stage - the planning of the structure and construction, while the second stage included - the design planning and dressing.

"We started with construction improvement before the purchase, in order to upgrade the infrastructure."

During this time, Arzi tried to understand the client's needs in order to implement them in the process.

The house itself was upgraded from scratch.

In fact, everything that the contractor gave, was upgraded and changed.

Starting with flooring, coverings, taps, toilets, doors and the like.

The house was carefully designed to meet the family's needs, therefore, as part of an architectural change, it took a lot of thought and was carefully planned.

Some of the architectural changes that were made were in favor of enlarging the kitchen and eliminating toilets at the entrance to create more storage in the kitchen, which is always good to have.

Together, help create functional and spacious spaces.

In addition, they chose to eliminate the dining area in exchange for a large island and free spaces in the public space of the house in order to have a spacious area where the children can play with pleasure.

One of the other changes that Erazi planned immediately after receiving the key, was the design of the magnetic lighting.

Magnetic lighting requires preliminary planning, as it requires lowering the ceiling with plaster.

The appearance of the magnetic lighting radiates luxury and aesthetically illuminates the space.

During the second phase, the design phase and actually dressing up the house began.

This phase took place about half a year before occupancy, in which every detail was planned in terms of design and dressing for the house.

This stage contains carpentry, lighting, textiles, furniture and decoration details.

The kitchen is the heart of the house.

It was very important for the client to create a luxurious and large kitchen at the very beginning of the process.

To this end, the kitchen and its storage were expanded, still in the tenant change phase, in order to meet the customer's needs.

Later, the kitchen was designed as part of carpentry plans that were made throughout the house.

With the help of carpentry, they created a dedicated area for electrical appliances such as a toaster, coffee machine, etc., inside a cabinet with doors in order to maintain a clean design and aesthetics. The sink in the kitchen is a sink built and cast from the terrazzo-like granite surface, which was specially chosen for the kitchen.

The living room is a continuation of a direct design line for the kitchen that Arzi wanted to create in the design.

It was important for her to add warmth, so she created a wall of power on a four-meter-wide wall with storage for spirits with the help of carpentry in which she also integrated an electric fireplace.

Together, they upgrade the aesthetics and functionality of the apartment.

The process resulted in the creation of a modern and integrated living space that reflects the client's tastes and provides them with the perfect home.

In addition to planning the carpentry in the center of the house, carpentry plans were made in the various spaces and with an in-depth clarification of needs in front of the client and a complete understanding of him, so that the carpentry would meet all his requirements.

In the son's bedroom, Arzi was designed, an elegant carpentry on an entire wall, part of which is intended for a wardrobe and the other part, intended for a study and storage table "It was important for me to create a continuous and sophisticated and unconventional carpentry. The carpentry is partly grooved and the continuous drawers give a sense of connection."

In the girls' room, carpentry was designed that combines decoration and storage that is mostly closed, to give the elegant design look with a clean design line.

In the bathing spaces, a power wall was chosen with a special terrazzo covering, which sets the tone while still maintaining simplicity and neutrality alongside elegance.

Also in the bathroom, carpentry was planned with storage above the flushing tank.

In addition, carpentry planning for a washing machine and dryer was carried out with thought and precision down to the smallest details, in the storage of the details that we often forget about such as a broom, mop, etc.

In the children's rooms, Sisi chose to give a touch of color, against the background of the existing monochromatic shades.

Together in the son's room, the green shade was integrated, as a leading shade in a refined and calm way.

In the girls' room, a Montessori bunk bed was designed, against a background of wallpaper that gives the room joy.

The customer was involved throughout the entire process, when he actually knows exactly what he wants and Sissy directs and specifies his wishes.

Sissy Arzi, a graduate of Ort Singlovsky College, has been an interior designer for about a decade.

"I believe in design that connects the emotion and inner world of a person with the living space. I live and breathe design, for me any material, texture, creation can open up a whole world of inspiration that translates into unique homes designed in a clean, aesthetic, symmetrical and contemporary line.

"I love color , and understands the spirit and its power.

For me, the color is used as the starting point for the design and develops in different adjustments that create a common language and a uniform and connecting motif inside the house.

I dictate the dosage of the color in the spaces I design and mix them gently and in a balanced way with supportive shades that envelop the space, so that the base remains neutral and mild but also warm and inviting.

"For me, the smallest details are the ones that make the difference, although I see the big picture and refrain from acting according to fixed formulas, I notice the subtleties, the style, the choice of complementary fittings, the level of finish, the optimal division of the space, and creates a unique living space adapted to character, figure and feelings that a person wants to feel at home."
