Two suspects were indicted as part of the investigation into the death of a young high school student, killed in the back of a car in Septème-les-Vallons near Marseille, the public prosecutor announced in a press release, confirming information from
La Provence.
On July 8, 2021, a 17-year-old girl
“without any link to drug trafficking or to the two other occupants of the vehicle”
was killed, hit by shots from two weapons, according to the Marseille prosecutor's office.
She had gotten into the back of the car,
“only taken on board by the couple when she wanted to go out to celebrate her baccalaureate”
.

Four arrests
According to Nicolas Bessone,
“the first elements made it possible to learn that the man present in the car had imposed a detour in order to go to an appointment, set so that he could recover a sum of money whose debtor was a of his knowledge.”

, this man was known to the police for acts related to drug trafficking.
At the start of the week, four people
“all detained for other causes”
were arrested as part of this investigation entrusted to the specialized interregional jurisdiction (JIRS) of Marseille.
“At the end of police custody, two of them, aged 22 and 21, were presented to the investigating magistrate of the JIRS, and indicted on charges of complicity in murder and attempted murder by an organized gang , as well as participation in a criminal association with a view to preparing crimes,
