An update to the British palace website shows Princess Kate and Prince William active and up to date.
Who is increasingly fading is Meghan Markle.
London - In medicine there is the term “tapering”, in which the dose of a preparation is reduced slowly and carefully so that the body can get used to it.
Something similar happens on the British palace website with Meghan Markle (42).
With every update it gets a little less.
In the meantime, only “the bare essentials” remain.
Fresher photos on the website royal.uk show a couple in action
According to people.com,
anyone who wants to find out more about Princess Kate (42) and Prince William (41) via the official website has been receiving
a surprisingly new presentation of the heir to the throne since the beginning of this week (January 29th).
Profile pages have been quietly updated with new photos and information.
Instead of the somewhat outdated portrait display, the palace now shows pictures from the last year of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Prince William's side shows him on stage during the coronation concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle the day after the historic coronation of King Charles, 75, in May 2023, where he gave a heartfelt speech in honor of his father.
Kate's profile now shows her smiling with a photo of her meeting Windrush Cymru Elders to kick off Black History Month in October in Cardiff, Wales.
The palace limits itself to the facts and doesn't say a word too much beyond that
The pictures of the three mini royals Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) also received updates.
Her solo pictures now show her official birthday photos from last year 2023. Things look completely different with Meghan, whose picture still shows her from her time as an active royal.
Her profile picture, which has slipped almost to the bottom in previous updates (the outcast Prince Andrew (63) is the low point), shows the mother of two on March 13, 2018 before the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey.

While with Prince Harry you have to scroll quite a bit to get to the end of his “more about the life and work of the Duke of Sussex”, with Meghan you will find four narrow paragraphs, one of which only provides information about her title in two lines.
The biography is also short and everything is said with her charity work.

Sure, the Sussexes stepped down from royal duties in 2020, but the current look shows that Meghan Markle simply no longer plays a role, except in the context of marrying the son of a royal.
This status usually goes to a divorced woman.
