Memmingen - Yesterday, Wednesday evening, the television broadcast of the Bavarian Radio program “Jetz red i” with State Minister Michaela Kaniber, Bavarian Minister of Agriculture, and Karl Bär, chairman of the Green Party's Agriculture Committee in the Bundestag, took place in the Memmingen town hall.
At the same time, a registered stationary meeting of the “peasant protests” with 150 participants and ten tractors took place on the German Unity Square directly in front of the town hall.
In the inner city area, around 850 tractors and vehicles demonstrated in a parade through the city.
Farmers from surrounding towns also made their way to the meeting in Memmingen.
