New elections for the rural youth Frieding.

The move to Scheuertalstrasse begins this weekend.

Frieding

- For the Frieding rural youth, not only is the move to the new home on Scheuertalstrasse the start of a new era, the new elections at the meeting on Tuesday also heralded a change in the 73-year-old club - a generational change.

“Nobody expected that the board would be so young in the end,” says the new chairman Marcus Essig (22).

With vinegar, some of the second row of the traditional club, which has 102 members and were previously active as assessors in the rural youth, slipped into the front row.

The new deputy is Valentin Sedlmayr from Widdersberg, and third board member Dominik Putz was already on the extended board as an assessor.

Local councilor Christian Pfänder from Erling is also a well-known face.

He was already treasurer on the previous board and represented the interests of the Friedingen association with particular emphasis in the sometimes stressful discussion about the new domicile.

Pfaender remains cashier.

Martina Kaiser is his second cashier.

Theresa Groß was elected as the new secretary.

The new assessors are Hubert Berchtold, Theresa Dreyer, Jacob Dreyer, Benedikt Strobl and Elisabeth Albrecht.

With Essig, who is a nephew of the Friedingen commander Stefan Sedlmayr, and Martina Kaiser as the daughter of fire brigade board member Christian Kaiser, a good coexistence should be guaranteed at the Scheuertalstrasse address, which is new for the fire brigade and rural youth.

Essig, like Martina Kaiser, is also an active member of the volunteer fire department, and it is also important to celebrate the inauguration together, even if the rural youth can move into the new premises from Widdersberger Straße 14 this weekend.

The rooms are scheduled to be demolished today.

The young people did a lot of things themselves.

“We’re all acting like fools,” says Marcus Essig, “that’s a great thing.” Grae
