Marcel Reif and Günther Jauch don't just have to do with each other at work.
The TV professionals also get along brilliantly in their private lives.
But what is Günther Jauch like outside of his job?
Rüschlikon – Sports commentator Marcel Reif (74) maintains a good friendship with presenter Günther Jauch (67).
The two share a love of two things: playing cards and drinking wine.
The football legend revealed this during a guest appearance on the podcast “Phrasenmäher” with Henning Hilfet.
The 74-year-old happily chatted about what the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” presenter is like outside of the TV world.

“We regularly play skat with a friend at Günther’s in Potsdam,” says Reif.
However, the stars are not particularly good at playing cards.
Because the sports journalist admits: “You can't make an educational film out of it, but we have a lot of fun - especially since not everyone has the same talent for the game.”
For Reif, Jauch is easy to understand.
“Günther always has the same face.
“We’ve known each other for too long for me not to be able to see through him,” Marcel Reif says.
In recent years he has been able to gain a lot of practical experience in this regard.
“When you've been friends for so long, secrets decrease - and so does secrecy,” he emphasizes.

But the two don't just come together to play cards.
“We often visited Günther and his wife Thea on Sylt in their beautiful house, where we are always very happy to be guests and they also like to see us,” says Reif.
He particularly raves about Jauch's wine, which is available to drink during visits.
The commentator says: “They always have a good bottle with them from their winery on the Mosel-Saar.” He particularly likes the TV presenter’s sweet wines: “These are great!”

The fact that Günther Jauch is “completely normal” and down-to-earth in his private life should come as no surprise to his fans.
The presenter recently even revealed that he hasn't received a raise on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" since 1999.
