Chiara Soldano, CEO of the insurance group AXA Italia, is the new president of Angels ForWomen, the first Italian association of business angels to support female entrepreneurship and innovation, founded by Axa Italia and Impact Hub Società Benefit.
Since the launch at the end of 2018, there have been numerous concrete actions implemented by A4W, with investments in 13 female leadership startups for a total of over 800,000 euros.
The network is also constantly growing and now has more than 70 business angels, men and women, coming from different sectors and with transversal skills.
A key event scheduled for 2024 is the Women 7 Summit, promoted by the official G7 group on equal opportunities, this year under the Italian presidency, scheduled for 8 and 9 May in Rome.
