DAV is looking for “mid-20 mountaineers”
Region – The “Gipfeglatscha” is what a group of young people in their mid-20s call themselves at the DAV Markt Schwaben section.
It offers a colorful mix of easy to moderately difficult tours.
Ski tours, tobogganing, via ferratas, hikes, bike & hike and alpine tours are on the program.
Anyone in their mid-20s who is looking for fun in nature and community is cordially invited.
In January we went on a “trial ski tour” to the Seekarspitze in the eastern Karwendel.
When approaching from Achenkirch, the shapely Seekarspitze catches your eye and as you set off, great weather, trees covered in hoarfrost and powder snow predicted a brilliant tour!
The effort to climb to the summit was rewarded with a dream view.
The descent gave an impressive view of Lake Achensee, crowned with a dusty powder snow descent.
Anyone who would like to get to know the “Gipfeglatscha” has the opportunity to do so on February 8th.
Here you go on nonsensical Thursday, masked up, on a night ski tour, for a fun drink in a rustic mountain hut and then dancing in the disco down in the valley.
