This week I heard direct testimony that illustrates the significance of the defeat that Israel inflicted on itself at The Hague.
It turns out that the IDF is already tying the soldiers' hands when it comes to maintaining that famous perimeter, which was supposed to protect the surrounding settlements. The soldiers are prohibited from shooting at Palestinians who enter the area, which stretches along the border of the Gaza Strip, unless it is clear that they are terrorists. The solemn promises to religiously preserve the perimeter This confidence still resonates, and already - evaporated.
This is a direct result of the ruling of the "International Court of Justice" (ICJ) in The Hague, last Friday, and in fact of the very agreement of Israel to appear and be tried there.
Because contrary to the sigh of relief voiced by all kinds of commentators, even without an injunction to stop the war, we have already lost.
The court's decision harms the independence of the State of Israel and its ability to defend itself.
It is important to understand - along with the scandalous orders it issued, the court tied Israel in a leash and collar, requiring it to provide it with a report, within 30 days, regarding how it implements its decisions.
This way he will regularly keep the IDF and the government under the boot, data despite the UN, in a way that is already affecting our ability to fight the enemy.

The basic sin lies in the fact that Israel did not reject the authority of the court and at least did not limit it, as many countries in the world do.
As analyzed by various experts, Israel could and should have said no, even though it is a signatory to the Court's convention.
Because this signature could be canceled from the beginning and it can be done now.
The very willingness to be tried by a tribunal whose members are appointed by the Security Council, most of them from hostile countries, is a scandal.
When the judges are representatives of Russia, China, Somalia, Morocco, Lebanon, Brazil, Jamaica and South Africa - you can know exactly the result.
It is a game that simulates a court, but there is no trace of truth and fairness in it.
And what can be expected from a UN institution, which, beyond the hostile automatic decisions of the General Assembly, operates the "Human Rights Council", which is mainly concerned with denying our rights, and of course the terrorist facilitator - UNRA.
In addition to agreeing to be tried, we added the wonderful appointment of retired judge Aharon Barak, a favorite of Yariv Levin and Channel 14, who was suddenly pulled out by the boss Netanyahu to protect us.
Well, not only did Barak fail to defend, he did the opposite when he joined in supporting two scandalous decrees, which harm the sovereignty and independence of the State of Israel and tie its hands.
Beyond that, the court's decision definitively crushed the claim that the preservation of the High Court's rule over the other state authorities is the guarantee that we will not be prosecuted in The Hague. Defenders of the High Court's supremacy have always argued that a violation of its supreme authority would harm security and reduce the government's freedom of action and the IDF, because of what is known as the principle of complementarity. According to this principle, the Hague's authority cannot act against a country with an independent legal system. This claim was raised by Israel's representatives in the Hague as a preliminary claim and was rejected outright. Appoints the independent authority and suspects it of committing genocide. Thus, along with the very defeat and loss of independence, a central claim of the defenders of the High Court of Justice also crashed.
But it's not too late to fix it.
Israel can and must withdraw its consent to appear in The Hague, and among other things announce that as long as Hamas does not unconditionally release all the abductees, as the court ordered, we are not in the game.
We continue to cultivate the enemy
While the US is shocked, and most of the countries that fund UNRA are suspending aid, the Israeli government and its security establishment continued this week to nurture this enemy organization.
At UNRA's administrative and logistical center, which is located close to the national headquarters of the police, business was as usual. The organization's finances continued to maintain the machine of incitement and terrorism that has been fighting us since 1948, funded by the United Nations and under its wings - a machine whose entire purpose is to perpetuate the Palestinian claim to the entire Land of Israel and to cultivate Emissions forever.
Although it was only recently that the participation of some UNRWA employees in the massacre in Otef, as well as Hamas's control of the organization, was revealed, none of this is new for the authorities in Jerusalem. What is still not new is the knowledge of the organization's subversive activity beyond the borders of the Gaza Strip - in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Recently, there have been calls against the fact that UNRWA operates schools in the capital city, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. In fact, the organization treats Jerusalem as occupied Palestinian territory, and among other things operates an entire neighborhood within it - known as the "Shoefat Refugee Camp". UNRWA is semi-sovereign there and provides various services, with Israel's knowledge and consent.
But worse than that - UNRWA also provides a "refugee certificate" and financial aid to Jerusalem Arabs, holders of an Israeli identity card, citizens and residents, while the State of Israel allows the hostile organization to manage institutions, neighborhoods and residents within it, to educate and perpetuate the Palestinian "displacement" from within Jerusalem. This, in UNRA schools in Jerusalem and Yosh, is taught according to the curriculum of the Palestinian Authority, that its anti-Israel outlines are parallel to those of Gaza.
This absurdity also extends to the Yosh territories, where UNRA maintains a huge array of institutions and maintains an emissions industry.
UNRWA's kingdom is spread from the south of Mount Hebron to the north of Samaria, including settlements known as "refugee camps" that have become leading terrorist strongholds, such as in Jenin and Tulkarm. In fact, the organization's facilities in Yosh are also controlled by terrorist organizations, from Fatah to Hamas. No It was once revealed how UNRA buildings and vehicles were used for terrorist acts.

It is also understood that the global drama regarding the organization does not stem from Israeli action, on the contrary.
Because Israel supports UNRWA, as it appears from the words of the coordinator of operations in the territories, Major Rasan Aliyan. This week he claimed in Washington that "there is no substitute" for working with this terrorist organization.
This is precisely the example of how our government and security system continue to be based on the October 6 concept, held by both parts of the War Cabinet.
It stems from the fear of ruling, from the continued attempts to buy peace while renouncing sovereignty and security, and above all it is rooted in the loss of direction and the lack of leadership.
