An American destroyer shot down
“three Iranian drones”
and a ballistic missile in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday, January 31, announced the American Military Command in the Middle East (Centcom).
“On Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. (Saana time),
the Houthi rebels
supported by Iran launched an anti-ship ballistic missile (...).
The missile was shot down by the USS Carney,” Centcom said in a statement.
Less than an hour later, this destroyer “shot down three Iranian drones”
which were
“near”
it, Centcom added, without specifying whether they were armed or not.
