Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) said it had succeeded in “sinking” the “Ivanovets” missile launcher in the area of Lake Donuzlav, on the west coast of Crimea.
According to Ukraine, the boat dating from 1989 and 56 meters long, equipped in particular with four Moskit supersonic anti-ship cruise missile launch systems, was probably hit by marine drones.
“Due to a number of direct impacts on the hull, the Russian ship suffered damage making any movement impossible.
The Ivanovets has sunk,” added Ukrainian intelligence on Telegram.
The service accompanied this message with a video showing a boat exploding in a spectacular fireball.

However, the authenticity of this footage and where it was filmed cannot be independently confirmed.
For the moment, Moscow has not made any comments on this matter.
The Rybar Telegram channel, close to the Russian army, just mentioned a nighttime Ukrainian attack in Lake Donuzlav.
And according to this channel, one of the Russian boats was “damaged” stating that the extent of the damage remained to be assessed.
In recent months, Ukraine, which is struggling in its land counter-offensive, has, on the other hand, defeated a Russian fleet reputed to be much more powerful, managing to keep its ships away from the southwest of this sea.
