A 60-year-old worker died at work this morning in a floodplain area in Guarda Ferrarese, in the Riva del Po area. The man, resident in Taglio di Po (Rovigo) was engaged in felling some poplar trees and reforesting in a private area.
From an initial reconstruction, around 8.45am he was crushed by a tanker van while refueling a tractor.
118 couldn't do anything.
The Carabinieri and Spisal of the Ferrara Local Health Authority also intervened to investigate the dynamics and possible responsibilities, as well as the medical examiner for an initial inspection of the body requested by the Ferrara Prosecutor's Office.
