This national measure, announced on December 5 by Gabriel Attal when he was still Minister of National Education, should allow colleges to create up to three groups of levels in these two fundamental subjects.

The goal ?

Reduce the heterogeneity of levels – school diversity – in classrooms which, says the Prime Minister, “condemns certain students to stagnate and prevents others from soaring”.

The reform plans in particular to limit the numbers in the weakest group to around fifteen students to strengthen support for children in greatest difficulty.
