His life changed four months ago, after the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas.
Omar*, his wife and their six children were living in the northern Gaza Strip at the time of the October 7 attacks.
They had to leave their home due to the first bombings.
Today, they are in the south of the Palestinian territory, where fighting continues intensely.

“We are living a real nightmare.
Everything is difficult: eating, sleeping, going to the toilet, traveling… (...) We feel abandoned by France,” says Omar.
