At lunchtime on Friday, the Bundestag adopted the 2024 draft budget without triumph, closing a painful political chapter for Olaf Scholz's ruling coalition.
By a majority of 388 votes, German deputies managed to limit the state debt to 39 billion euros, while escaping social anger, which constituted the main issue of the exercise.
This coalition is driven by a “

”, welcomed the Minister of Finance, Christian Lindner.
