Friday, February 2nd

Schongau - underground car park devastated:

A young man from Schongau rioted in an underground car park and left a trail of destruction behind.

The next day he admitted the crime and said he regretted it.

Weilheim - Windows smashed and door stolen:

Between November 1st and January 29th, an unknown perpetrator broke two windows in a greenhouse owned by a 40-year-old from Weilheim in the Am Gögerl allotment garden.

The door to the greenhouse was also stolen.

The total damage to property and loot is estimated at around 300 euros.

Any relevant witness information is requested from the Weilheim police station.

Weilheim - car overlooked:

On February 1st at 5:25 p.m., an 88-year-old from Weilheim wanted to turn left in his car from Murnauer Straße onto Alpenstrasse.

The 88-year-old overlooked the right-of-way car belonging to a 44-year-old from Seehausen who was driving south on the Alpine Road.

In the ensuing collision, both people involved in the accident were uninjured, and overall property damage amounted to around 2,000 euros.

Thursday, February 1st

Peiting - Burglary in a workshop for the disabled:

Between Tuesday, January 30th, 4 p.m. and Wednesday, January 31st, 7:30 a.m., a previously unknown perpetrator broke into the office of a workshop for the disabled on Schachtstrasse in Peiting.

As previously known, the perpetrator broke a window with a stone and was able to break into the office.

According to previous findings, nothing was stolen from the office.

The damage to the broken window is around 400 euros.

Schongau - Traffic accident with slightly injured person:

On Wednesday, January 31st, around 4:10 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the junction of Bahnhofstrasse and Hermann-Ranz-Strasse in Schongau, in which a 20-year-old woman from the Ostallgäu district was slightly injured.

A 44-year-old woman from the western Altland district of Schongau was driving her Opel on Herman-Ranz-Straße towards the train station.

At the junction with Bahnhofstrasse she wanted to turn left and initially stopped due to traffic because she had to respect the right of way here.

A road user coming from the right gave up his right of way and therefore signaled to the Opel driver.

She then immediately drove into the junction of Bahnhofstrasse and overlooked a Peugeot car coming from the left, which was driven by the 20-year-old from the Ostallgäu district.

The front of the Opel car collided into the passenger side of the Peugeot car.

The 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot car was slightly injured in the impact and was taken to Schongau Hospital in an ambulance.

The two cars suffered total damage of around 8,000 euros.

Penzberg - Hit and run:

On January 31st, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., a previously unknown vehicle damaged an Audi car belonging to a Penzberger (44) that was parked in the parking lot of a hardware store on Frauenhofer Strasse.

The person responsible caused damage to the left side of the vehicle amounting to approximately 1,500 euros.

He left without carrying out his duties.

The Penzberg police station will receive information on 08856-9257-0.
