Among the reinforcements to join the fight waged for three years: the food professions, the edible markets and the hotel and catering sector, whose representatives signed, this Friday morning, a charter of commitment in the presence of Robert Van Otterdijk , agro-industries expert with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The presence of this United Nations figure, on the sidelines of an international conference against food waste, alone testifies to the originality and effectiveness of this charter, adopted in December 2020 by the municipality of Courbevoie.
A charter that the city's large and medium-sized stores were the first to sign, committing, all brands combined, to donating unsold but still consumable foodstuffs to associations.
