The government is set to launch a billaimed at protecting teachers from attacks after a spate of parents' violence against school officials across Italy.
"Major novelties are in the pipeline," said Education MinisterGiuseppe Valditara saying that sanctions for such assaults will be hiked.
The latest incidents have targeted head teachers in Taranto and Foggia, both in Puglia, this week.
