The All Saints' Day holidays left a very bitter memory for the passengers of line 13. The closure of metro 14 had overwhelmed the trains and made the travel conditions, usually not very comfortable, difficult to bear.

To avoid the same images of platforms and corridors stormed by human tides, the RATP has launched a major communication plan and is warning users now of the risks of saturation for the next school holidays.

From February 11 to 25, the authority must once again close the line to passengers as part of the upcoming extension.

It will change the current, almost thirty-year-old operating system of the automatic metro: “It does not have the capacity to manage the 65 trains that will run when the new portions are inaugurated,” explains Stéphane Garreau, director of the project.

With just the 35 trains running today, the system is at the limit of what it can do.
