A horse died in a collision with a bus in Göggingen, Swabia (Sigmaringen district).
The animal galloped onto a federal highway with other animals, the police announced on Friday.
There the bus, which was filled with students among others, collided with the horse.
It died of its injuries on site.
The passengers were reportedly uninjured in the accident on Thursday.
