The approval of the
Omnibus Law
in the Chamber of Deputies by 144 votes in favor and 109 against left some surprises, such as the breakup of the radical bloc that had anticipated voting together in general favor and then
Facundo Manes
and
Pablo Juliano
opposed it.
The official project had 38 votes from the La Libertad Avanza bloc, 37 from the PRO, and nine from Federal Innovation, which responds to a group of governors.
But it also added 18 of the 23 members of the We Make Federal Coalition bloc led by Miguel Ángel Pichetto and 32 of the Radical Civic Union, of the 34.
Among the votes against, there were 97 from Unión por la Patria and four from the Left Front and the Workers: Myriam Bregman, Christian Castillo, Alejandro Vilca and Nicolás del Caño.
The socialists
Mónica Fein
and
Esteban Paulón
, members of Pichetto's bloc, also opposed the general vote on the omnibus law.
Another representative from the same bloc who rejected the project in general was
Margarita Stolbizer
.
Also opposed was the Peronist
Natalia De la Sota
, daughter of the former governor and member of the We Make Federal Coalition bloc.
At the time of the vote, on social networks the radical Manes showed a photo of himself with the Constitution in the middle of the room and the phrase "They don't see it."
It is the same slogan that President Javier Milei had used to criticize the opposition and that libertarian followers promoted as a trend on social networks.
Among the 144 votes, the ruling party garnered three from the Tucuman Peronist deputies of the Independence bloc who respond to Governor Osvaldo Jaldo.

A rarity was that of the Por Santa Cruz bloc: José Luis Garrido voted in favor of the law in general, while former governor Sergio Acevedo voted against the law.
