Under the motto “Never again is now!”, the Alliance Against Right-Wing Extremism is calling for another protest on Saturday, February 3rd at 4 p.m.
At the central rally at the Nuremberg Kornmarkt, Joachim Hermann (CSU), Florian von Brunn (SPD), representatives from the Association of German Sinti & Roma, the Nuremberg Jewish Community and representatives from 1. FC Nuremberg will be on stage as speakers.
Demo in Nuremberg: Police are preparing for all eventualities
After far more people came to the last demonstration than planned, it is still unclear how many will gather this weekend.
According to police spokesman Michael Petzold, the Nuremberg police are also having a hard time making an assessment.
However, the officials are prepared for all eventualities and will ensure security during the demonstration.
The police spokesman assumes that things will be calm, peaceful and orderly on the Kornmarkt, which can easily accommodate 15,000 people.
