The Save project - Sustainability Action Travel Experience of the Savings Museum, created to bring young people closer to the issues of sustainability, circular economy, social inclusion and financial education, confirms its international vocation with a new edition of the joint initiative aimed at students of secondary schools (ages 16-18 years) of Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia.
The initiative promoted by the Flitin - Financial LiteracyInternational Network of the Intesa Sanpaolo group through its ambassadors involves the development of proposals for the development of an approach that is consistent with the objectives of economic and environmental sustainability.
The seven best entries, one for each country, were evaluated by a jury chaired by the president of IntesaSanpaolo Gian Maria Gros-Pietro and composed of Marco ElioRottigni, Chief International Subsidiary Banks Division IntesaSanpaolo, Luisa Ferreira, Head of Social Program EIB Institute and Giovanna Paladino, Director and curator of the Savings Museum.
The 4D class of the IvanLucic High School in Trogir in Croatia won first place and will receive a gift of a forest of 30 trees planted for the occasion in a developing country, in collaboration with Treedom.
Second place was the project of class 2A of the Martin Business Academy in Slovakia.
Third place went to the 12.6 class of the QemalStafa school in Tirana, Albania.
The two classes will respectively receive as a gift, in collaboration with the WWF, the adoption of 20 specimens of polar bears and 10 specimens of endangered sea turtles.
